Where do I start? How do I make an appointment?
The best way to begin is for you to send me an email, we can then plan an initial phone call or meeting. There is no cost for this first discussion. Once I understand more about what you need, we can explore whether I can offer the right kind of support.
What kind of support do you offer?
I am a BAPT registered Play Therapist. I specialise in deepening the bonds of attachment. I work on a bespoke and integrative basis, responding to you and your family's needs. I can offer infant and family based Play Therapy sessions as well as 1.1 Play & Creative Therapy sessions with older children, young people and parents.
I offer trauma-informed Play and Creative Therapy sessions designed to follow the needs of the client, the infant, child and their family, including creative, clay, sensory, story, sand, water, outdoor, nurturing touch and movement together.
What age group do you work with?
I am a BAPT trained Play Therapist. I have experience of working with children and young people aged 0-26. I work on a bespoke and integrative basis, responding to you and your family's needs. I can offer infant and family based Play Therapy sessions as well as 1.1 Play & Creative Therapy sessions with older young people and parents. I am happy to work with children and young people of all ages so long as it feels like the right space and approach for you and your family.
What sort of things can Play & Creative Therapy help with?
Reasons for referral might include trauma recovery, attachment and bonding related difficulties, bereavement, anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, parenting and big feelings...alongside a wide range of other issues. Referrals are also welcome during pregnancy.

How much do Play & Creative Therapy sessions cost?
Family Play Therapy Sessions, 1.1 Play Therapy Sessions and Creative Therapy sessions cost £60 per session. There is no charge for the Initial Telephone Consultation. Observation & Assessment sessions cost £60 per session. An Assessment Report can be provided at a cost of £120. You have two payment plan options, either monthly or pay as you go. If you choose to pay monthly I will invoice you with an online payment link in advance at the beginning of each month. If you choose to pay as you go I will send you an online payment link weekly in advance of each session. You can also choose to pay in cash. On receipt of payment the Play Therapy session is then confirmed. Please just let me know which option suits you.
How long does it take?
Each Play and Creative Therapy session lasts 50 minutes. A minimum of 4 assessment sessions are recommended. Further Play and Creative Therapy sessions are planned and agreed in collaboration with you. A minimum of 10 Play and Creative Therapy sessions is recommended and further sessions for more significant difficulties can be planned together.
