Infant and Family Play Therapy
Sara is a member of the Association for Infant Mental Health and specialises in deepening the bonds of attachment through infant and family Play Therapy sessions. Sara offers trauma-informed bespoke Play Therapy sessions designed to follow the needs of the infant and their family, including creative, sensory, story, nurturing touch, movement and yoga play together. Reasons for referral might include trauma recovery, attachment and bonding related difficulties, bereavement, anxiety, stress, emotional regulation and big feelings...alongside a wide range of other issues.
Referrals are welcome during pregnancy.
Infant and Family Play Therapy Sessions - £60 per hour. A minimum of 10 Play Therapy sessions is recommended.
Family Based Play Therapy
Sara qualified as a BAPT registered Play Therapist in 2009 and has spent over 20 years working alongside children and their families. Sara offers trauma-informed bespoke Play Therapy sessions designed to follow the needs of the child and their family, including creative, sensory, story, sand tray and outdoor play together. Reasons for referral might include trauma recovery, attachment and bonding related difficulties, bereavement, anxiety, stress, emotional regulation and big feelings...alongside a wide range of other issues. Sara also offers Reflective Space for parents and carers to think together about their child and what they need.
Family Play Therapy Sessions - £60 per hour, 1.1 Play Therapy Sessions - £60 per hour, Reflective Space - £60 per hour.
A minimum of 10 Play Therapy sessions is recommended.
Watch, Wait & Wonder
A therapeutic group approach for babies and their most important people. InsideOutside Therapy creates a calm space to think about what your baby is thinking and feeling and to hold your baby in mind. Relax and be mindfully present with your baby, follow them in infant led play, deepen your bond and spend time together.
Suitable for around 3 months to pre-crawling.
Group Session - £10 per session, 5 week block beginning Thursday 29th February 2024, 11-12pm.

Book Club for Parents & Carers
Each month we select a book covering an aspect of parenting, then come together to think, journal, create and chat about it. Third Tuesday of the month at 11-12.30pm. Check Instagram for our latest book selection.
£10 per session.
Creative Therapy Space at the Hut
InsideOutside Therapy offers a well resourced, nurturing, confidential and safe therapeutic space. Registered therapists, counsellors and wellbeing practitioners are welcome to contact Sara to discuss further.
£15 p/hr for one off bookings & £50 for 4 consecutive bookings.
Assessment & Reports
As part of your referral and throughout our work together Sara will think carefully about your therapeutic needs, safety and wellbeing. Sara can offer a free telephone consultation to think with you about what kind of therapeutic support might be right for you and your family. Relevant reports can be shared with InsideOutside Therapy to inform clinical decision making and further signposting if necessary. Sara is experienced in working closely with the Team Around the Child and can attend professional meetings as appropriate. Sara can also offer school/nursery based observations and play based assessments such as the Marschak Inervention Method to fully assess children and family's therapeutic needs. Sara can provide detailed and competent reports of the therapeutic work undertaken as required.
Telephone Consultation - free, Observation & Assessment - £60 per session. Assessment Report - £120.
A minimum of 4 assessment sessions are recommended.
